'Remmy Substrates India Pvt Ltd' manufacturer & exporters of coco peat & coir fibre products was established in the year 1994.  We also have set up our own sales office Qingdao 'Remmy Commerce & Trade Co Ltd' to sell our coir products in China.

The Region

Our factory is located in the outskirts of Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. Unlike most of the towns in Tamil Nadu, Pollachi experiences a pleasant climate given its proximity to the Western Ghats and is one of the few places which receives both southwest and northeast monsoon rains which makes this region renowned for coconut plantations.

Infrastructure

Our good and planned infrastructure with concrete floor yards, and organised production facility with a well experienced team who are actively engaged in production process, enables us  to produce high quality cocopeat and coir fibres.

 

The availability of raw material, abundant water supply and tropical weather makes our facility an ideal location for manufacturing coir products.

Quality

The entire production process are closely monitored by our team to maintain the structure & stability of cocos. Delivering quality goods is of at most importance and it is controlled by carrying out frequent tests in our laboratory. Our motto is to supply quality goods to our clients which will be beneficial for business at both ends.

 

Our factory is RHP certified which is monitored by ECAS, the certifying agency from 'The Netherlands'. We have also got SA8000, a global social standard certificate for respectable working conditions with policies and procedures that protect the basic human rights of workers.

Logistics

An efficient team is engaged to closely follow up the shipments for timely delivery of goods from the factory until the goods reaches our buyer. To meet our demands and supply goods on time, we have our own trailers for container transportation from factory to the port.

Products

Coco Peat

Coco peat is an organic and excellent substrate for cultivation. Quality cocos will have good water retention, very low in weed, high stability & high rate of air which will keep the plants healthy resulting high yield.

  • Unwashed Cocos

    Raw/Unwashed Cocopeat are stored in bunkers as soon as they are extracted, allowed for ageing  & washing.

  • Washed Cocos

    Generally coconut husk has high salt content, hence cocopeat is washed with clean and natural water to lower the EC levels.

  • Briquettes

    Compressed bricks of weight 650gms, size 20*10*5 cm.

  • Growbags

    Coco Peat in compressed board form packed UV treated plastic bag with both end sealed for ready use.

    Plant hole, Drip hole, Drain hole in plastic bag are also done as per customer choice.

  • Blocks

    Compressed blocks of weight 5 Kgs, size 30*30*15 cm.

  • Buffered Cocos

    Buffered cocopeat (sometimes known as treated) has been treated with chemicals to reduce the salt such as Sodium & Potassium which are naturally higher in cocos thereby increasing Calcium & Magnesium levels to give the plant a balanced diet for uniform growth and also reduce EC as low as possible. As a result the yield using buffered cocos is very high.

Fibre Products

Our products include super grade, fine grade and first grade fibres. We have also set up a fibre cleaning machine to remove the dust and impurities which are generally found in coir fibres.

  • Washed Cut Fibres

    Coco Cut Fibres / Coir Fibres are chopped or cut into sizes of 1 cm to 5 cm sizes.

    Coco Cut Fibres are used to mix with Coco Peat, Peat Moss etc for more air porosity to the plants to grow freely.

  • Mixed Blocks

    The products of Coco Peat, Coco Cut Fibre & Coco Chips are mixed with different ratios to meet the requirements of plant growing media. It is available in compressed block form. These mixed blocks are mostly used for the plants which need more airporosity for fast growing.

  • Coco Chips

    Coconut Husk (shell) are cut into size of 1 cm to 5 cm sizes and washed to low the EC levels. It contains high quality cocopeat with fibres to absorb more  water. The Coco chips are  suitable for the plants which require more air, a substitute for wood barks.
